After got Flight Ticket and Accomodation, it's time to apply for South Korea Visa.
Yes, to enter South Korea, you need a visa. And it's not too easy, and not too dificult to get the visa. As long as you prepare the document correctly, then the chance to get the visa is bigger.
We decided to apply visa at early November (remember, the visa entry only valid for 3 months, it's better to apply about 1.5 months before departure). For those who live outside Jakarta, like me, it's better to apply via local travel agent. And for those who live at Jakarta, you can go directly to :
Korean Embassy
Jl. Jendral Gatot Subroto Kav.57 Jakarta 12950
Tel : 62-21-2967-2555 , 62-811-852-446(emergency)
Hours of Operation : 08:30-12:00, 13:30-16:30
Of course there's difference with the price.
This time, I also use the same travel agent with when I applied at 2014, and it cost IDR 750.000/pax.
If you apply directly, it only cost IDR 544.000/pax for single entry tourists visa.
The documents that you have to prepared:
1. Visa Application Form, you can ask from travel agent, or download at http://idn.mofa.go.kr/worldlanguage/asia/idn/visa/issuance/index.jsp
2. Original Paspor (still available more than 9 months) and all expired Passport (original) that you have and had stamp
3. The copy of identity passport and all stamp
4. Bank Letter of Referense (with English, there's your full name, bank account number, and last amount when you make the letter). -- apply at bank, and need payment about IDR 50.000 and need 1 day work.
5. Proof of Financial for last 3 months (with same bank account number as point 4, make sure your account is active with transaction, and fill some money that enought to pay for your trip - just count USD 100/day). -- if you print at bank, you need to pay IDR 2.500/pcs. Just make sure to routine print your book account, so you can copy by yourself last 3 months, and if the bank need to stamp it, just bring your copy to bank and they will stamp it.

12. Confirmation of Round-Way Ticket
13. Confirmation of Accomodation
14. Itinery
That's the document that I prepare (as enterpreneur).
If you are not enterpreneur, but an employee, you have to ask Letter of Employment from the company, which tell that you work in there and will travelling to Korea, and will come back according to the date of travelling.
If you are not working, you can ask for letter of sponsorship from parents.
If you are a housewife, you can ask letter of sponsorship from your husband.
The travel agent will send our document on Monday, and will be arrive at embassy at Wednesday. Now, time to wait.
All the document is needed, to prove that you will not seek any employment at Korea, and will come back to Indonesia according to your itinery.
