Legoland, Johor Bahru :: Family Trip to Kuala Lumpur - Johor > Malaysia -- Day 5, 9th July 2016

Today, we will play at Legoland for a whole day. I have already bought Legoland Ticket via their official website. There's a promotion, buy 1 and get 50% discount for the 2nd. The ticket price is RM 225/pax for adult and RM 180/pax for children (3-11yo) and Senior (> 60yo).

But I got RM 135/pax for adult, and RM 90/pax for my dad and uncle (senior). There's also a promo 20% discount for book 7-day early and there's many-many promotion in the website.

The admission price is only for Theme Park, and not included the water park ticket. We have to print the ticket that we bought online, to enter the legoland. And it only for 1x entrance, once you come out, you can't go back in.

Our hotel (Hallmark Regency Johor) also offer a discount ticket buy 1 and get 50% discount for the 2nd, and you will got free shuttle to Legoland from hotel. But you have to buy on the spot, or tell them when you booking the room. And don't forget to book the time also, because you have to compete with other traveller.

I reserve a shuttle, for RM 196 (drop and pick up). I ask them to depart at 09:00 and pick us at 16:30.

The weather is so hot, so don't forget to bring sunglasses and hat or umbrella.

Actually, this theme park suitable for children, so many children in there. You can't bring food from outside, but there's so many food stall in there. Just avoid to eat when it's time to eat, or you have to queue.

There's a playgame, one of them is if you wants to become fireman. You will ride the fireman car with your family, and try to put down the fire.

Airport:

At 16:00 we are already walk out the theme park and go to the mall to wait our car. The car came at 16:30, and we ask them to drop us at JB Central.

JB Central is a mall, and also bus station and train station to Singapore and some other city in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, etc). The immigration office is also located in here. The place is so big, always read the sign when you come here and don't get lost.

After walk around the mall, we decided to go back using taxi. The taxi in here, always prefer to bargain than using metres.

Because we are 8 people, we decided to use 2 taxi. The first taxi gives us RM 10, but the 2nd give us RM 15. I don't know why this could be different.

It only took about 15 minutes to go back to hotel from JB Central.

Today is the last day for some of us because they have to go back to Indonesia tomorrow. I still have 1 day more.

To Johor Bahru by Car :: Family Trip to Kuala Lumpur - Johor > Malaysia -- Day 4, 8th July 2016

Today, is our last day at Kuala Lumpur. We will go to Johor Bahru by car. The rent car will come pick us at 09:00.

We didn't buy breakfast from hotel, so we buy some food at 7-11 nearby. There's frosted fried rice, you just put it on microwave and eat it. The taste is not bad.

I choose to depart from i-city at 09:00 because it will take 4-5 hours to drive to Johor Bahru. And if we late, the driver have to spend a night at Johor Bahru, and we have to pay for the night.

The car is also rented from Jalan Jajah Hemat. The driver, Mr Vincent is so kind and he like to talk.

In the middle of the way to Johor Bahru, we stop by rest area to eat some lunch and resting. The food at rest area is so cheap, you can eat less than MYR 5 with a lot of food. Mostly is local food, but there's KFC there.

The rest area is so crowded.

After 4-5 hours, we arrive at Johor Bahru, and our hotel here is Hallmark Regency Hotel. At first, I want to stay at Grand Paragon Hotel, but at last I choose Hallmark Regency Hotel. They are on side by side, only Hallmark Regency is small hotel.

Next time, I will try Grand Paragon Hotel.

There's no porter here, so you have to pick your own luggage. But the receptionist is so helpful, and she can speak many language.

After rest for a while, then we go to nearby shopping mall. First, we go to Holiday Plaza, an old shopping mall at Johor. We go by taxi, and it cost MYR 6,5-7,5.

There's not much to see in here, the mall is so quiet, but the things is cheap. Then we walk to KSL City Mall.

KSL City Mall is a new mall and it's bigger. There's a hotel above the mall, if you like to spend more time, you can stay here.

We eat dinner first. There's no food court in here, they are already close. So, we decided to eat at Hongkong Restaurant.

This mall, even it's new, but the price is not too expensive. And it's really crowded in here, especially on holiday.

We spend some time to walk around and buy some mineral water. Then we go back to hotel.
We plan to go back by taxi, but because it's to near, the taxi cost MYR 12.

So we decided to walk.
