Another Borobudur Marathon 10K Event in 2016, it happened at 20th November 2016.

Rhema Hill part 1

Rhema Hill, is a name for Pigeon Church that located near Borobudur Temple. Today hash actually go to Purwosari Hill to see Sunrise. But the path to go there is not good, so we go to Rhema Hill.

Hash :: Kampong Bamboo Klatakan, Borobudur, Magelang > Central Java - Indonesia

Today has is at Kampong Bamboo Klatakan, near Borobudur Temple at Bojong, Wringinputih Village.

It is located near Borobudur Temple, about 5km from Borobudur Temple. With 20 hectar, full of bamboo tree.

The villager also provide the meal, it's traditional meal such as Nasi Jagung Kluban (Corn Rice with vegetable), Bubur Sayur (Vegetable Poridge), Jenang, Lemper, Singkong Bambu Inkung, and you can taste traditional drink, Badeg (kind of Coconut).

Hash :: Somewhere in Majaksingi, near Borobudur Temple, Magelang > Central Java - Indonesia

Today hash, at Majaksingi, near Borobudur Temple. We park our car in front of Amanjiwo Resort. There's a government office in there with large car parking.

Hash :: Punthuk Kendil

Located, near Borobudur Temple, this is one of  famous place to see sunrise at Magelang.

Hash :: Punthuk Sukmojoyo & Pos Mati > Magelang ~ Central Java ~ Indonesia

Located at Dusun Krinjing, Giri Tengah Village, near Borobudur Temple, this place is still unknown to many people. Just to go Borobudur Temple direction, until you see Manohara Hotel, go straight until the second intersection, then turn right. And follow the path until you see a car station.

Then from there, you can go by "Ojek" / motorcycle, pay for IDR 30.000 to visit 2 locations: Punthuk Mongkrong & Punthuk Sukmojoyo.

This time, because we go there for hash, then we walk until Punthuk Sukmojoyo (short path). The way to there is uphill, so prepare a comfortable shoes and drink.

This is the place to park your motorcycle

There's so many vegetables around, the most famous in here is Ginger

You need approximately 30 minutes to climb. But the view after is so amazing. If you plan to visit on sunrise / sunset, then count your time carefully.

This is Punthuk Sukmojoyo

Punthuk is the peak of a mountain.

There's a facility to enjoy the scene, if you brave enough, you can stand in the bamboo and take picture.

From Punthuk Sukmojoyo, you can go to Punthuk Mongkrong but the way to go there is so dificult. So we go back down but through another way. We passed Pos Mati Diponegoro. The way to go here is so dificult. If you never experience climb mountain, better you back by the first path and then ride motorcycle to go to Pos Mati.

This place is good choice if you have time to go on trip.

2015 Borobudur International 10K & Half Marathon > Magelang ~ Indonesia

On 15th November 2015, located at Borobudur Temple, there's an event for all runner in the world. It's Borobudur 10K and Half Marathon (21K). The event took every year. There's a lot of category.

I take Public Woman Runner which cost IDR 50.000/person.

If you want to know how to register, then ask the website or keep up-to-date on every September.

You will got a t-shirt and number and also Doorprize.

We have to take route:

You have to come before 5 o'clock if you bring car, so the car could park inside Borobudur Temple Car Parking. If not, then you have to park outside because the road will be cleared from traffic.

Then once you enter the area, you have to wait behind the START line. The more late you came, you will start from behind.

On 06:10, the 21K begin to run, then on 06:16, the 10K begin to run.
When I begin to run, the 21K runner has already on their 8th km. Wow.. so fast.. :D

While running, we meet the 21K runner. And they are so fast.

When we passed 5Km, the organizer will give us a paper medals, which we can change it into medals souvenir on finish.

Finally, after almost 1 hour and 42 minutes, I see the FINISH line.

Finally.. I'm entering finish line on 1 hours and 42 minutes.

And I got the Souvenir.. ^^ Hope I could join again next year.. ^___^
