Magelang Culinary Festival 2016 > Indonesia

Every year, on Magelang City Birthday, there's some event that the local government held. One of them is Culinary Festival which located at Karesidenan Kedu.

This time, I went there at night. There's so many culinary that they offered in here. This year, there's a lot of beverages and desert.

2014 Borobudur International 10K

Borobudur International 10K 2014 is a special running event which held in The Magnificent Borobudur Temple in the Magelang Regency, Central Java Province, Indonesia. The event is presented by the province of Central Java in collaboration with the Indonesian Athletic Association (PASI).

The Borobudur 10 K opens competition in three main categories, which are: the General Category (international professional athletes, national athletes, international and national runners), the Local Category (citizens of Central Java and Yogyakarta), and Students Category.

You have to registered first before join the running. And you will get number, t-shirt and smal backpack. For apply, you could contact the information in the website above. The price is based on what category you are.

On 4.30, we go to Borobudur, and it's already so many people in there.

2014 Peh Cun Festival at Parangtritis Beach > Yogyakarta ~ Central Java ~ Indonesia

Peh Cun Festival 2014, was on 2nd June 2014. JCACC (Jogja Chinese Art and Culture Centre) held the festival on 1st and 2nd June 2014.

On 1st June 2014, there's so many competition and ceremony.
- Dragon Boat Competition which held at Depok Beach, near Parangtritis Beach;
- Photography Contest, for all event area;
- Painting Competition at Parangtritis Beach;
- Lion Dance Competition at Parangtritis Beach.

There's a big dragon, stand in the middle of Parangtritis Beach which is the biggest and the longest in MURI JCACC. The dragon has 126 metre long and 14 metre height. At night, there's a ceremony to burn the dragon.

In the afternoon, there's not much ceremony. Only the competition that took place. One of them are Painting Competition.

At night, there's some performance and the ceremony of burning the dragon. Then at 2nd June, Peh Cun Day, there's pray ceremony in the morning, and at 12:00 o'clock, is the only time when you can make the egg stand on table or flat surface.

Just try it on Peh Cun Day, at noon.

Hotel :: Hotel Aryaduta > Jakarta ~ The Capital City ~ Indonesia

It's my cousin's wedding, and held at Hotel Aryaduta Jakarta. It's been twice I stay in this hotel. For me this is enough, especially when it's free XD. The host give us accomodation, so why not.

Hotel Aryaduta Jakarta located at Jl. Prapatan 44-48 Jakarta close to Farmer Status, Ismail Marzuki Park, and National Gallery of Indonesia. Also nearby are Immanuel Church and Sarinah Mall. It's 4.5* star hotel.\

The building was a little old, but for me, it's comfortable enough.
