Magelang Culinary Festival 2016 > Indonesia

Every year, on Magelang City Birthday, there's some event that the local government held. One of them is Culinary Festival which located at Karesidenan Kedu.

This time, I went there at night. There's so many culinary that they offered in here. This year, there's a lot of beverages and desert.

Recipe :: Choco Mille Crepe

I got the recipe from here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbSuWIc9Iag, it's Purple Mille Crepe, but I change the purple yam, into cocoa.

Crepe Ingredient:
- 2pcs Egg
- 20gram Unsalted Butter
- 100gram Flour
- 50gram Sugar
- 300cc Milk

Cream Ingredient:
- 90gram Cream Cheese
- 40gram Sugar
- 1table spoon Cocoa
- 180gram Heavy Whipped Cream (Solid)

Decoration: 1/2 teaspoon Cocoa

How to make the Crepe?
- Mixed the egg
- Heat the butter
- Mixed flour, sugar until mix well, and add the egg little by little until soft
- Add the milk a little by little (at least 3 times)
- Add the butter
- Heat the pan, and give butter on the surface. Pour 1 soup spoon, spread into thin crepe. And wait until cooked and flip. Cook for about 10 minutes.
- Keep repeated until have 15-18 pcs.
- Keep it cool in the refrigerator

How to make the Cream?
- Mixed Cream Cheese, sugar, cocoa, and heavy whipped cream until grown 70% and hard.

After the crepe is cold enough (don't use the hot one, because he cream will be broken), put the crepe, then the cream, and another crepe, and cream, until all the crepe. Then, put the cocoa / icing sugar in the top for decoration.

Serve cold.

*Sorry for bad translations, I used the recipe in the video, and try to make it by myself. And because the crepe still hot, so the result is not good enough.

There's a new restaurant in Yogyakarta. It's Maystar, which very famous in Jakarta. I have been there once (Jakarta Branch), but that time, my relatives invite us for breakfast dimsum.

Now, we try the once that just opened in Yogyakarta, because there's discount 30%.

My cousin, who has been there, choose the menu. And because we are 14 people, we need 2 table, and 2 pcs of every menu. And we choose medium size.

For the information, this restaurant is an expensive one. Maybe you can try order small size (I don't know how much the portion of small size, but it's cheaper).

Today, Me and friends hangout again at Hideout Cafe & Pattiserie. I found new favourite menu, Mozzarela Stick. It's so cheesy and delicious.

Ice which sells on a stan, and it's franchise. You can find it in some area in Magelang.

After eat lunch, they take us to eat dessert in NC Cube Canal Walk Shopping Street. I saw this area once, on Running Man. So I know what is it.

You can shopping in here. And also a lot of restaurant and cafe in here. The shopping mall is unique, there's a canal in the middle of the building, with fountain and many decorations.

After walking around, it's already 3 o'clock in the afternoon. So we go back to Seoul. My friend's husband has something to do in Seoul, so they take us to Yongsan E-Market to shopping. While her husband go to Dongdaemun.

Pangandaran > West Java ~ Indonesia > Day 04 > 2014 May 18

There's an International Kite Festival at Pangandaran, and today is the final battle. So before we go home, we watch it first. But unfortunately, untill 10 o'clock, the festival hadn't started yet. Because we want to eat lunch at Sidareja which took 1 hour to 1.5 hours, so we cancelled our plan to watch the festival, and go home.

At Wangon - Bulu, we decided to stop for a while to drink Dawet Ayu.

Dawet Ayu suitable to drink when the weather is hot. It's refreshing, and sweet.

Then we continue the journey back home. See you in the next trip.. :)

Wat Talingchan Floating Market > Bangkok ~ Thailand < 2013 August 12 (3) > (Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Kuala Lumpur)

When we take trip on boat at Chao Phraya River, we drop by Wat Talingchan Floating Market. It sells snack and food.

This is yummy, you can get this at department store. I accidentaly bring it on journey, so I try it. And decided to buy more... :)
