Movie :: Rogue One Star Wars (2016)

Credit:
- IMDB

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (or simply Rogue One) is a 2016 American epic space opera film directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy, from a story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta. It is the first stand-alone film in the Star Wars Anthology series. Rogue One stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker, and follows Jyn Erso, the daughter of the unwilling designer of the Galactic Empire's superweapon, the Death Star, and her quest to retrieve his plans for destroying it.

Produced by Lucasfilm and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film is chronologically set after the events of Revenge of the Sith and immediately before the events of A New Hope. Principal photography began at Elstree Studios near London during early August 2015 and wrapped in February 2016, with reshoots and additional filming taking place in mid-June 2016. Rogue One premiered in Los Angeles on December 10, 2016, and was released to the rest of the United States on December 16, 2016.

Plot:
Research scientist Galen Erso is in hiding on Lah'mu when Imperial weapons developer Orson Krennic arrives to force Galen to return to work on the unfinished Death Star, a space station-based superweapon capable of destroying entire planets. Galen is taken into custody and his wife Lyra is killed in the ensuing confrontation, but their daughter Jyn escapes and is taken to safety by Rebel extremist Saw Gerrera.

Fifteen years later, pilot Bodhi Rook defects from the Empire, smuggling a holographic message from Galen to Gerrera on the moon of Jedha. Meanwhile, Jyn is freed from Imperial captivity by the Rebels on Wobani, who plan to use her to track down her father. However, General Draven orders Rebel intelligence officer Cassian Andor to kill Galen rather than extract him.

Jyn, Andor, and reprogrammed Imperial droid K-2SO travel to Jedha, where the Empire is mining Kyber crystals to power the superweapon; Gerrera and his partisans are engaged in an armed insurgency against them. With the aid of blind warrior Chirrut Îmwe and mercenary Baze Malbus, Jyn makes contact with Gerrera, who is holding Rook captive. Gerrera shows her the hologram in which her father explains that he has secretly compromised the Death Star's reactor design, directing them to find the plans at an Imperial high-security data bank on the planet Scarif.

Grand Moff Tarkin meets with Krennic on the Death Star and expresses skepticism about the project and its management. As a demonstration, Krennic uses a low-powered shot to destroy Jedha's capital and crush the insurgency, forcing Jyn and her group to flee while Gerrera elects to remain behind and die. Tarkin uses security breaches under Krennic's command as a pretext to take control of the project. Krennic meets with Darth Vader to seek his and Emperor Palpatine's support, but Vader dismisses his suggestions.

The Rebels track Galen to an Imperial research facility on the planet Eadu, where Cassian chooses not to assassinate Galen. Confronted by Krennic and his troops, Galen admits responsibility for the leaked information. A Rebel bombing raid begins before Jyn can attempt a rescue and Galen dies in his daughter's arms. The Rebels escape in a stolen Imperial cargo shuttle.

Jyn proposes a plan to steal the Death Star schematics from Scarif, but the Rebel council is split and cannot agree on a plan. Frustrated at their inaction, Jyn, Cassian, K-2SO, Îmwe, Malbus, Rook and several Rebels decide to use the stolen Imperial shuttle to raid the data bank. They arrive on Scarif where Jyn and Cassian disguise themselves as Imperial officers and search for the plans, while the other Rebels mount an attack on the resident Imperial garrison. Rook contacts the Rebel Alliance fleet which soon arrives to take down the shield surrounding the planet. K-2SO is destroyed holding off Stormtroopers, allowing Jyn and Cassian to retrieve the Death Star plans from the data vaults. Rook, Îmwe, Malbus, and most of the Rebel ground troops are killed in the battle. Krennic confronts Jyn, declaring the Empire's victory. Cassian shoots him, enabling Jyn to transmit the Death Star plans to the Rebel command ship. Tarkin fires the Death Star to destroy the compromised base. Krennic dies in the blast while Jyn and Cassian embrace before being killed by the ensuing shock wave.

As the Rebel fleet retreats, an Imperial fleet led by Vader arrives. He boards the Rebel command ship to retrieve the plans, only to watch a small starship escape with them. Aboard the fleeing ship, Princess Leia declares that the plans will provide hope for the Rebellion.

Movie :: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016)

Link:
- IMDB
- Wikipedia

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a 2016 fantasy film directed by David Yates and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. A prequel of the Harry Potter film series, the film was produced and written by J. K. Rowling, in her screenwriting debut, and inspired by her book of the same name. The film stars Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander with Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Samantha Morton, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Ron Perlman and Colin Farrell in supporting roles. It is the first instalment in the Fantastic Beasts series, and the ninth overall in J. K. Rowling's Wizarding World.

Plot:
In 1926, British wizard Newt Scamander arrives by boat to New York City en route to Arizona. He encounters Mary Lou Barebone, a non-magical woman ("No-Maj" or "muggle") who heads the New Salem Philanthropic Society, which claims that witches and wizards are real and dangerous. As Newt listens to her speak, a Niffler escapes from his magically-expanded suitcase, which houses multiple magical creatures. As he attempts to capture it, he meets No-Maj cannery worker and aspiring baker Jacob Kowalski and they accidentally swap suitcases. Demoted Auror Tina Goldstein arrests Newt for being an unregistered wizard and takes him to the Magical Congress of the United States of America (MACUSA) headquarters, hoping to regain her former position. However, President Seraphina Picquery and Director of the Magical Security Percival Graves dismiss the case. At Jacob's apartment, several creatures escape from Newt's suitcase.

Graves approaches Credence Barebone, Mary Lou's adopted son, and offers to free him from his abusive mother in exchange for his finding the host of an Obscurus, a dark, destructive force inadvertently manifested by young magical children forced to conceal their powers. The force can be unleashed during periods of anger and stress; Graves believes that it has caused several mysterious destructive incidents around the city.
After Tina and Newt find Jacob and the suitcase, Tina takes them to her apartment and introduces them to Queenie, her Legilimens sister. Queenie and Jacob are mutually attracted, though American wizards are forbidden to marry No-Majs or interact with them. Newt takes Jacob inside his magically-expanded suitcase, where Jacob encounters a contained Obscurus that Newt recently extracted from a girl who died. Newt persuades Jacob to help search for the missing creatures. After re-capturing two of the three escaped beasts, they re-enter the suitcase, which Tina takes to MACUSA. Officials arrest them, believing one of Newt's beasts to be responsible for killing Senator Henry Shaw Jr., and decide to destroy Newt's suitcase and obliviate Jacob's memory. Graves interrogates Newt and Tina and accuses Newt of conspiring with the infamous dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Newt and Tina are immediately sentenced to death, but they escape and meet up with Queenie and Jacob; the foursome then capture the last of the creatures after receiving a tip from the goblin gangster Gnarlack.

Credence finds a wand under his adopted sister Modesty's bed. Mary Lou assumes the wand is Credence's, but Modesty claims it is hers. When she is about to be punished, the Obscurus is unleashed, killing everyone except Modesty and Credence. Graves arrives and dismisses Credence as being a Squib (a non-magical person of wizard ancestry), and refuses to tutor him in magic after they enter Modesty's biological family's home. Credence then reveals himself as the host of the Obscurus, the real cause of Shaw's death, and unleashes it upon the city in a rage.

In a subway tunnel, Newt talks to Credence but is attacked by Graves. Tina, who knows Credence, arrives and attempts to calm him, while Graves tries to convince Credence to listen to him instead. As Credence begins to settle into human form, Picquery arrives with Aurors and decides Credence's life must be forfeited to keep the existence of magic hidden. The Aurors apparently disintegrate him, but Newt notices a tiny wisp of the Obscurus fleeing. Graves admits to unleashing the Obscurus to expose the magical community to the No-Majs, and angrily claims that MACUSA protects the No-Majs more than themselves. He repels the Aurors but is subdued by one of Newt's beasts and revealed to be Gellert Grindelwald in disguise. Grindelwald is then taken into custody by MACUSA Aurors.

MACUSA fears it is too late to protect their secret world, but Newt releases his Thunderbird to disperse a potion over the city via a downpour that will erase all New Yorkers' recent memories. MACUSA wizards repair the destruction, and Jacob reluctantly agrees to let himself be obliviated as well. Queenie kisses Jacob goodbye as the rain erases his memories. Newt departs for Europe, but promises to return and visit Tina once he finishes his book; he also anonymously leaves Jacob a case of Occamy eggshells (made of silver), allowing Jacob to fulfil his dream of opening his own bakery. His breads and pastries are unknowingly inspired by Newt's creatures, and Queenie visits him in his shop.

Movie :: Doctor Strange (2016)

Credit:
- Wikipedia
- IMDB

Doctor Strange is a 2016 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the fourteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Scott Derrickson, who wrote the film with Jon Spaihts and C. Robert Cargill, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, Scott Adkins, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton. In Doctor Strange, surgeon Stephen Strange learns the mystic arts from the Ancient One after a career-ending car accident.

Various incarnations of a Doctor Strange film have been in development since the mid-1980s until Paramount Pictures acquired the film rights in April 2005 on behalf of Marvel Studios. Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer were brought on board in June 2010 to write a screenplay. In June 2014, Derrickson and Spaihts were hired to direct and re-write the film, respectively. Cumberbatch was chosen for the eponymous role in December 2014, necessitating a schedule change to work around his other commitments. This gave Derrickson time to work on the script himself, for which he brought Cargill on to help. The film began principal photography in November 2015 in Nepal before moving to the United Kingdom, and concluded in New York City in April 2016. Filming also occurred in Hong Kong.

Plot:
In Kathmandu, Nepal, the sorcerer Kaecilius and his zealots enter the secret compound Kamar-Taj and murder its librarian, keeper of ancient and mystical texts. They steal a ritual from a book belonging to the Ancient One, a sorcerer who has lived for an unknown time and taught all at Kamar-Taj, including Kaecilius, in the ways of the mystic arts. The Ancient One pursues the traitors, but Kaecilius escapes with the pages and some of his followers.

Stephen Strange, an acclaimed neurosurgeon, loses the use of his hands in a car accident. Fellow surgeon and former lover Christine Palmer tries to help him move on, but Strange, believing he can regain use of his hands, instead uses all his resources pursuing experimental surgeries in vain. After learning of Jonathon Pangborn, a paraplegic who mysteriously was able to walk again, Strange seeks him out, and is directed to Kamar-Taj. There, Strange is taken in by another sorcerer under the Ancient One, Mordo. The Ancient One shows Strange her power, revealing the astral plane and other dimensions such as the Mirror Dimension. Strange begs her to teach him, and she eventually agrees despite his arrogance, which reminds her of Kaecilius.

Strange begins his tutelage under the Ancient One and Mordo, and learns from the ancient books in the library, now presided over by the master Wong. Strange learns that Earth is protected from other dimensions by a spell formed from three buildings called Sanctums, found in New York City, London, and Hong Kong. The task of the sorcerers is to protect the Sanctums, though Pangborn chose to forgo this responsibility in favor of channeling mystical energy into walking again. Strange advances quickly over several months, even secretly reading from the text Kaecilius stole from and learning to bend time with the mystical Eye of Agamotto. Mordo and Wong warn Strange against breaking the laws of nature, comparing his arrogant yearning for power to that of Kaecilius, who believes, after the deaths of his loved ones, that everyone should have eternal life.

Kaecilius and his followers use the stolen pages to begin summoning the powerful Dormammu of the Dark Dimension, where time does not exist and all can live forever. This destroys the London Sanctum, and sends Strange from Kamar-Taj to the New York Sanctum. The zealots then attack there, where Strange holds them off with the mystical Cloak of Levitation until Mordo and the Ancient One arrive. Strange and Mordo become disillusioned with the Ancient One after Kaecilius reveals that her long life has come from her own use of Dormammu's power. Kaecilius mortally wounds the Ancient One, and escapes to Hong Kong. The Ancient One tells Strange that he, too, will have to break the rules, to balance Mordo's steadfast nature. She then dies, despite the best efforts of Strange and a bewildered Palmer. Strange and Mordo arrive in Hong Kong to find Wong dead and the Sanctum destroyed, with the Dark Dimension already engulfing Earth. Strange uses the Eye to turn back time and save Wong, before creating an infinite time loop inside the Dark Dimension that traps himself and Dormammu in the same moment forever. Strange agrees to break the loop if Dormammu leaves Earth, and the latter takes Kaecilius and the zealots with him.

Disgusted by Strange and the Ancient One's disregard for the consequences of defying nature, Mordo departs. Strange returns the Eye, which Wong calls an Infinity Stone, to Kamar-Taj, and then takes up residence in the New York Sanctum to continue his studies. In a mid-credits scene, Strange agrees to help Thor, who has brought his brother Loki to Earth to search for their father Odin. In a post-credits scene, Mordo visits Pangborn and steals the energy he uses to walk, stating that Earth has "too many sorcerers".

Movie :: Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016)

Jack Reacher: Never Go Back is a 2016 American action thriller film directed by Edward Zwick and written by Zwick, Richard Wenk and Marshall Herskovitz. A sequel to 2012 film Jack Reacher, the film stars Tom Cruise, Cobie Smulders, Patrick Heusinger, Aldis Hodge, Danika Yarosh and Holt McCallany. The plot follows Reacher going on-the-run with an Army Major who has been framed for espionage.

Plot:
After dismantling a human trafficking ring, former military investigator turned vigilante drifter Jack Reacher returns to his old military headquarters to meet Major Susan Turner, who he has been working with during his travels, only to learn from Colonel Sam Morgan that Turner has been accused of espionage and detained.

Turner's attorney, Colonel Bob Moorcroft, reveals that there is evidence that Turner is involved in the murders of two soldiers in Afghanistan, but Reacher believes she is being framed. Moorcroft also reveals an old acquaintance of Reacher, Candice Dayton, has filed a paternity suit against him, claiming he’s the biological father of her 15-year-old daughter, Samantha Dayton. Moorcroft is later killed by an unknown assassin.

Reacher reaches out to Samantha, but she rebuffs him, believing he's after her biological mother due to her past as a drug addict. Reacher is later framed for Moorcroft’s murder and arrested and transported to the prison where Turner is being detained. Assassins arrive to kill her, but Reacher neutralizes them, rescues her and they escape to Morgan’s house, having deduced he’s involved in the conspiracy, to extract information. After they leave, the assassin, revealed to be working with Morgan, kills Morgan and frames Reacher which he learns about from a friend, Sergeant Leach when he asks her to investigate a military contractor.

Reacher and Turner uncover surveillance pictures of Samantha and surmise she’s in danger, arriving at her home to find her foster parents dead and Samantha hiding in the kitchen. Reacher and Turner decide to escort Samantha to Turner's old private school for protection, but discover that she has her mobile phone with her and the enemy probably knows exactly where they are. They discard the phone and make a quick exit, during which Samantha steals a backpack from one of the students to use the credit cards.

Reacher, Turner and Samantha travel to New Orleans in search of Daniel Prudhomme, the only eyewitness to the murders for which Turner has been framed. They find him in a derelict warehouse filled with drug addicts and learn that Prudhomme is connected to Parasource, a private military organization that is trying to cover up the murders. Reacher contacts Turner’s friend, Captain Anthony Espin, to move Prudhomme into custody, but they are ambushed by assassins and Prudhomme is killed, while Reacher rescues Espin and finds out that the assassins are Parasource contractors. Parasource's CEO, General James Harkness, then sends his enforcer to capture Samantha after she uses a credit card to order room service.

Reacher and Turner, along with Espin, acting on information provided by Prudhomme, intercept a flight of weapons due to enter the country, where they confront Harkness and his men and accuse them of corruption. Upon opening the crates, however, Espin find weapons as declared in the flight manifest. Before Turner can be re-arrested, Reacher opens up one of the weapons crates and discovers that they are filled with opium. They learn that Harkness framed Turner, who had been investigating his activities, for the murders of two soldiers who discovered that Harkness was selling weapons to insurgents and smuggling drugs into the United States. Espin and his men then arrest Harkness, clearing Reacher’s and Turner’s names.

The enforcer and his men locate and chase Samantha through the streets to lure Reacher into a confrontation. Turner kills one of the assassins, whilst Reacher takes out another one on the rooftop. The enforcer captures Samantha and threatens to kill her, but she manages to escape and steal his gun. Reacher then tackles the enforcer onto another rooftop, briefly incapacitating both of them, and they have a vicious fight that culminates with Reacher breaking the enforcer's arm, leg and neck, before dropping him off the rooftop. Reacher then admits to Samantha he might be her father.

Following Harkness' arrest, Turner is reinstated in her old position and goes back to her office, where her collegues and Captain Espin all welcome her back. Reacher promises to keep in touch before meeting Samantha at a diner to meet Candice, whom he surmises he will recognize as he remembers everyone he has slept with. Samantha reveals that the waitress that had been serving him is in fact Candice and that Reacher can’t be her father as they didn’t recognize each other. Reacher and Samantha then reluctantly part.

While preparing to leave, a phone rings in Reacher's pocket and finds Samantha's phone, which she had slipped on his pocket, with a final goodbye. Reacher smiles as he hitches a ride to the nearest town.

Movie :: Miss Peregrine's: Home for Peculiar Children (2016)

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children is a 2016 American fantasy film directed by Tim Burton, and written by Jane Goldman, based on the 2011 novel of the same name by Ransom Riggs. The film stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Chris O'Dowd, Allison Janney, Rupert Everett, Terence Stamp, Ella Purnell, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson.

Plot:
For years, Abraham "Abe" Portman (Terence Stamp) has told stories to his teen-aged grandson, Jacob "Jake" Portman (Asa Butterfield) about his childhood battling gruesome monsters and spending part of the war years living at "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children", located off the coast of Wales. The adolescent residents of the home, along with their headmistress, Miss Alma Peregrine (Eva Green), possess unique abilities and are known as "Peculiars."

When Jake receives a frantic phone call from his grandfather, he and his supervisor, Shelly (O-Lan Jones) rush to his grandfather's home. They arrive to find the house trashed. In the woods behind the house, Jake finds his dying grandfather, without eyes, who frantically tells Jake to find "the bird, the loop and September 3, 1943". As Jake looks up he sees a gigantic creature creeping up behind Shelly. She turns and shoots her pistol into thin air at Jake's warning.

Jake begins seeing Dr. Golan (Allison Janney), a psychiatrist, who says it is not unnatural for Jake to hallucinate about the horrific creatures from his grandfather's stories as a result of his grief. At his surprise birthday party, Jake's Aunt Susie (Jennifer Jarackas) gives him his grandfather's gift: a book containing a letter from Miss Peregrine from two years earlier.

After discovering that his grandfather's stories may be real, Jake and his father, Franklin (Chris O'Dowd), travel to Wales. Jake explores the island and finds an old house that was destroyed during a World War II Luftwaffe raid. As he explores, the Peculiar Children from Abe's stories greet him. Jake flees the cave he had entered. Back at the hotel, the people are now dressed in 1940s clothing. They accuse Jake of being a German spy and start to fight him when plates and cups start flying around, allowing the Peculiar Children to help Jake escape. It turned out the dishes were actually thrown by one of the Peculiar Children he met earlier, an undressed invisible Millard Nuggins (Cameron King).
They take him to Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, where Miss Peregrine greets him. She explains that they live in within a time loop permanently set to September 3, 1943. Jake learns a super-strong child named Victor Buntley (Louis Davinson) lived at the home until he was killed by a monstrous creature known as a Hollowgast, or "Hollow", creatures that are led by Mr. Barron (Samuel L. Jackson), a Wight. Barron and his Wight and Hollow minions are kidnaping the guardians of Peculiar Children, known as "Ymbrynes", such as Miss Peregrine, from their time loops so they can consume their childrens' eyes in hopes of regaining their humanity. Jake discovers that he is a Peculiar; one of the few people who can see Hollows--an ability shared by his grandfather. At the end of the day, Jake and Emma Bloom (Ella Purnell), a light-as-a-feather aerokinetic teenager who can manipulate air and create liquid bubbles and who is Abe's love interest, walks him to the time loop cave just as another Ymbryne, Miss Avocet (Judi Dench) in her avocet bird form, flies into them. Emma takes her to the children's home to be nursed back to health.

After Jake is accused of massacring a blind old man on a wheelchair (which, he also lost his eyes), he flees to the cave. An ornithologist (Rupert Everett) follows him, and transforms into Dr. Golan, then reveals himself to be Mr. Barron. He was trying to get information about Miss Peregrine from Abe, but his Hollow minion killed Abe before he could answer. Barron forcibly escorts Jake to the children's home, where he demands that Miss Peregrine return to his loop with him in her peregrine falcon form. Fearing for the safety of her children, she does as told, leaving Miss Avocet behind to care for the Peculiar Children. The children learn that a Hollow is on its way for their eyeballs and begin barricading their home. As they arm themselves, Miss Avocet is killed by the invading Hollow. The children escape the Hollow just as the bombing raid arrives. The bomb kills the Hollow and destroys the house, closing the time loop. Now stuck in this present time, Emma guides Jack and the children to a sunken cruise liner, where they formulate a plan to rescue Miss Peregrine and the other Ymbrynes from Mr. Barron and his minions. Emma raises the ship to the surface, and the children set sail for the time loop (that Miss Avocet created) where Barron's lair is located—a seaside carnival in Blackpool, England half a year before the present. As the children enter the loop (risking to be aged or death if their twenty-four hour loop expires in this time period), they use their peculiarities in an epic battle to subdue the Hollows, and also Mr. Clark (Jack Brady) and Mr. Archer (Philip Philmar) (two of the Wights), as the children are joined by an undead skeleton army from the ship led by necromancer Enoch O'Connor (Finlay MacMillan).

They then go into the circus ring, where Barron and his remaining Wights are waiting for the Hollows and the rest of them to return. While the kids fend them off, Jake and Emma rush off to rescue the Ymbrynes. Emma holds off Barron with a gust of wind she keeps blowing towards him, giving Jake a chance to free the Ymbrynes. Emma runs out of breath just as Enoch and his longtime love interest pyrokinetic Olive Abroholos Elephanta, arrive. They find the door busted in, and rush in to find two Jakes--one of whom is Barron in disguise. As they argue who is the real Jake, Enoch is willing to shoot them both. The real Jake mockingly says that he has an ability he has but which Barron lacks. As the last Hollow approaches them and Barron realizes too late what was happening, the Hollow kills Barron before being itself killed by Jake. As the children finish off Barron's remaining henchmen, Miss Peregrine and the Ymbrynes are freed. The children bid goodbye to Jake, who promises to find them once again after returning home.

As Jake returns to Florida in the present world, his grandfather is alive and well. Jake relates his adventures to Abe. Abe gives Jake the same book gifted to him earlier. Inside, Jake discovers international currency and maps of time loops all over the world. His grandfather instructs him to travel through as many international loops as he needs to locate the Peculiar Children. As he rejoins them on the ship, Miss Peregrine (in her peregrine falcon form) follows them in their ship as they look for another time loop.

The Secret Life of Pets is a 2016 American 3D computer-animated adventure comedy film produced by Illumination Entertainment. It is directed by Chris Renaud and co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. The film stars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Steve Coogan, Ellie Kemper, Bobby Moynihan, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, Jenny Slate, and Albert Brooks.

Plot:
A Jack Russell Terrier named Max lives with his owner Katie in a Manhattan apartment. While she is at work during the day, he hangs out with other pets in the building: tabby cat Chloe, pug Mel, dachshund Buddy, and budgerigar Sweetpea. One day, Katie adopts Duke, a large and shaggy dog from the pound, leaving Max jealous because of her larger focus on Duke. Enraged by Max's attitude towards him, Duke tries to abandon Max in an alley, but they are both attacked by a gang of alley cats led by Sphynx cat Ozone. The cats remove both dogs' collars and leave them to be caught by Animal Control. Duke fears that he will be put down if he goes back to the pound.

They are rescued by a rabbit named Snowball, the leader of "The Flushed Pets" – a gang of sewer-dwelling animals who hate humans because their owners abandoned and mistreated them. After Max and Duke pretend to despise humans as much as they do, the Flushed Pets invite them to join. Before they can prove their loyalty by allowing a one-fanged viper to bite them, Snowball learns from the cats that Max and Duke are domesticated. The two dogs escape the sewers and board a ferry to Brooklyn, inadvertently killing the viper in the process; Snowball vows to kill them and leads the Flushed Pets after them.

Gidget, a white Pomeranian who has a crush on Max, discovers that he is missing and recruits a vicious red-tailed hawk named Tiberius to locate him. After looking over the city for Max, Tiberius returns carrying Ozone, whom Gidget coerces into telling what he knows about the dogs. Gidget and Tiberius then enlist Mel, Buddy, Chloe, guinea pig Norman, Sweetpea, and a paralyzed old basset hound named Pops to begin searching Manhattan. The group encounters Snowball, who vows to kill them as well, and Norman is captured as the rest of Gidget's team flees.
In Brooklyn, Max and Duke begin to get along with each other and raid a sausage factory for food. Duke tells Max about his previous owner, Fred, an elderly man who adopted him as a puppy and loved to spend time with him. One day, Duke got lost while chasing a butterfly and was picked up by Animal Control, but Fred never came to claim him. Max convinces him to visit Fred's house in a nearby neighborhood, confident that Fred will still love him. When they arrive, though, they learn from a resident cat named Reginald that Fred has died. Resentful and angry, Duke accuses Max of attempting to get rid of him and barks at the new homeowners, who just return to their "own" house, who call Animal Control. The handlers catch Max, but Duke interferes long enough for him to escape and ends up being captured instead.

While trying to rescue Duke as he follows the Animal Control van, Max is attacked by Snowball and his comrades. However, Snowball's gang are captured, and Snowball decides to help Max rescue them. They drive and crash a city bus into the van on the Brooklyn Bridge, stopping traffic. The Flushed Pets arrive and corner Max, unaware of his partnership with Snowball, but Gidget and her team save him. The van rolls away; the captured Flushed Pets escape, but the van falls into the East River with Max and Duke inside. Max is unable to get the keys to Duke's cage, so Snowball jumps into the river to retrieve them, allowing Max and Duke to escape the sinking van.

The entire group return to the apartment by taxi. Max expresses his appreciation and infatuation toward Gidget, who returns with affection. Snowball and the Flushed Pets then come up with a new plan to annihilate all humans, but Snowball is then adopted by a little girl named Molly. At first, Snowball resists, but gives in to her sweetness and lets himself be adopted by her. The remaining Flushed Pets return to the sewers, the other pets return and embrace their owners, and Max and Duke finally reunite with Katie, sparking a true friendship.

Movie :: Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad is a 2016 American superhero film[4] based on the DC Comics antihero team of the same name. It is the third installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is written and directed by David Ayer and stars an ensemble cast featuring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne. In Suicide Squad, a secret government agency led by Amanda Waller recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions and save the world from a powerful threat, in exchange for leaner sentences.

By February 2009, a Suicide Squad film was in development at Warner Bros. Pictures. Ayer signed on to write and direct in September 2014, and by October, the casting process had begun. Principal photography began on April 13, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario, with additional filming in Chicago, Illinois, and ended in August that year.

Plot:
In the aftermath of Superman's death as depicted in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, intelligence operative Amanda Waller assembles Task Force X, a team of dangerous criminals imprisoned at Belle Reve Prison consisting of elite hitman Deadshot, former psychiatrist Harley Quinn, pyrokinetic ex-gangster El Diablo, opportunistic thief Captain Boomerang, genetic mutation Killer Croc, and specialized assassin Slipknot. They are placed under command of Colonel Rick Flag to be used as disposable assets in high-risk missions for the United States government. Each member has a nano bomb implanted in their neck, designed to detonate should any member rebel or try to escape.

One of Waller's intended recruits is Flag's girlfriend Dr. June Moone, an archaeologist possessed by a witch-goddess known as the "Enchantress". Enchantress quickly turns on Waller, deciding to eradicate humankind with a mystical weapon as a punishment for imprisoning her. She besieges Midway City with a horde of monsters, and summons her brother to assist her. Waller then deploys the squad to extract a high-profile mark from Midway, which is reported to be under a terrorist attack.
Ahead of their departure, they are joined by Katana, a warrior who wields a mystical sword and acts as Flag's bodyguard. Harley's lover, the Joker, finds out about her predicament and tortures Belle Reve Security Officer Griggs into leading him to the facility where the nano bombs are made. There, he blackmails one of the scientists involved in the program into disabling Harley's bomb. On approach, the squad's helicopter is shot down, forcing them to proceed on foot to their target. Boomerang then convinces Slipknot that the bombs are a ruse to keep them in check. Slipknot attempts to escape and is killed via his nano bomb, while the squad is attacked by Enchantress' minions. They eventually manage to fight their way through to a safe room, where they learn that their mark is Waller herself, who is attempting to cover up her involvement in Enchantress' siege.
The squad escorts Waller to a rooftop for extraction, but the arriving helicopter has been hijacked by the Joker and his men, who open fire on the squad while Harley climbs aboard. However, the helicopter is shot down by Waller's men, and Harley jumps out while the Joker seemingly perishes in the explosion, after which Harley rejoins the squad. Alerted to Waller's whereabouts, Enchantress' minions arrive and kidnap her. Deadshot finds Waller's confidential files and learns the truth about Enchantress. Deadshot confronts Flag, who confesses the truth, causing the squad members and Katana to abandon Flag. With Waller compromised, Flag relieves the squad of the mission, but chooses to continue. Realizing they have an opportunity to prove themselves, they soon rejoin him and locate Enchantress at a partially-flooded subway station. Killer Croc and a group of Navy SEALs, led by Lieutenant GQ Edwards, go underwater to plant a bomb underneath her brother. El Diablo embraces his abilities and manages to hold Incubus down long enough for the bomb to detonate underneath, killing them both as well as Edwards.

The remaining squad members battle Enchantress together, but are ultimately defeated. Enchantress offers to fulfill their deepest desires in exchange for their allegiance, and Harley feigns interest in order to get close enough to cut out Enchantress's heart. Killer Croc then throws explosives into Enchantress' weapon and Deadshot shoots them, destroying the device. Flag takes Enchantress's heart and crushes it, finally freeing June from the curse. Waller, still alive, emerges and the squad members are returned to Belle Reve with ten years off their sentences. All but Captain Boomerang are allowed special privileges. The Joker, who survived the explosion, breaks into the prison and reunites with Harley. In a mid-credits scene, Waller meets with Bruce Wayne, who agrees to protect her from the backlash of Enchantress's rampage in exchange for access to the government's files on the expanding metahuman community.

Movie :: Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters is a 1984 American supernatural comedy film directed and produced by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. The film stars Bill Murray, Aykroyd and Ramis as three eccentric parapsychologists who start a ghost-catching business in New York City. Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis co-star as a client and her neighbor, and Ernie Hudson as the Ghostbusters' first recruit.

Plot:
Parapsychologists Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, and Egon Spengler are called to the New York Public Library to investigate recent paranormal activity. They encounter the ghost of a dead librarian but are frightened away when she transforms into a horrifying monster. After losing their jobs at Columbia University, the trio establish a paranormal investigation and elimination service known as "Ghostbusters". They develop high-tech equipment capable of capturing ghosts and open their business in a disused, run-down firehouse. Egon warns them never to cross the energy streams of their proton pack weapons, as this could cause a catastrophic explosion. They capture their first ghost, Slimer, at a hotel and deposit it in a specially built containment unit in the firehouse basement. As paranormal activity increases in New York City, they hire a fourth member, Winston Zeddemore, to cope with demand.

The Ghostbusters are retained by cellist Dana Barrett, whose apartment is haunted by a demonic spirit, Zuul, a demigod worshiped as a servant to Gozer the Gozerian, a Sumerian shape-shifting god of destruction. Venkman takes a particular interest in the case, and competes with Dana's neighbor, accountant Louis Tully, and her cellist friend, for her affections. As the Ghostbusters investigate, Dana is demonically possessed by Zuul, which declares itself the "Gatekeeper", and Louis by a similar demon, Vinz Clortho, the "Keymaster". Both demons speak of the coming of the destructive Gozer and the release of the imprisoned ghosts, and the Ghostbusters take steps to keep the two apart.
Walter Peck (William Atherton), a lawyer representing the Environmental Protection Agency, has the Ghostbusters arrested for operating unlicensed waste handlers and orders their ghost containment system deactivated, causing an explosion that releases hundreds of ghosts. The ghosts wreak havoc throughout the city while Louis/Vinz advances toward Dana/Zuul's apartment. Their romantic encounter opens the gate and transforms them into supernatural hounds. Consulting blueprints of Dana's apartment building, the Ghostbusters learn that mad doctor and cult leader Ivo Shandor, claiming humanity was too sick to survive after World War I, designed the building as a gateway to summon Gozer and bring about the end of the world.

The Ghostbusters are released from custody to combat the supernatural crisis, but after reaching the roof of Dana's building, they are unable to prevent the arrival of Gozer, who appears in the form of a woman. Briefly subdued by the team, Gozer disappears, but her voice echoes that the "destructor" will follow, taking a form chosen by the team. Ray inadvertently recalls a beloved corporate mascot from his childhood—"something that could never, ever possibly destroy us"— and the destructor arrives in the form of a giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and attacks the city. The Ghostbusters cross their proton pack energy streams (reversing the particle flow) and fire them against Gozer's portal; the explosion defeats Gozer/The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and frees Dana and Louis from their possessor demons. As thousands of New Yorkers wipe themselves free of marshmallow, the Ghostbusters are welcomed on the street as heroes.

This year (2016), they have the 2nd season.

Don't forget to watch the 1st episode first before you watch the 2nd.

Independence Day: Resurgence is a 2016 American science fiction film directed by Roland Emmerich and written by Emmerich, Dean Devlin, Nicolas Wright, James A. Woods and James Vanderbilt. It is the sequel to the 1996 film Independence Day and stars an ensemble cast featuring Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, Sela Ward, Judd Hirsch, Brent Spiner, and William Fichtner. Although some of the original cast members reprise their roles from the first film, Robert Loggia made a cameo appearance filmed shortly before his death in December 2015; Will Smith, Margaret Colin, James Rebhorn (who died in 2014), and Adam Baldwin did not return; and Monroe and Usher take over Mae Whitman and Ross Bagley's roles, respectively.

Plot:
Twenty years after the international community recovered from a devastating alien invasion that killed over three billion people, the United Nations has set up the ESD (Earth Space Defense), a united global defense program that serves as Earth's early warning system. The main defense force uses technology salvaged from the remains of the alien forces, with military forces assembled on the Moon, Mars, and Rhea, while the Area 51 base has become the ESD Headquarters.

In Africa, ESD Director David Levinson meets with Dr. Catherine Marceaux and warlord Dikembe Umbutu, who leads him to an intact alien destroyer. Aboard the ship, they discover that the ship was drilling a hole into the ground and that the aliens sent a distress call to its home planet before their defeat. Furthermore, Umbutu and former U.S. President Thomas Whitmore experienced recurring visions of extraterrestrial logograms ever since their personal encounters with the telepathic aliens and try to decipher them.

A spherical ship with technology different from the aliens' emerges from a wormhole near the ESD's Moon defense headquarters. Levinson believes that it belongs to another extraterrestrial race that is benevolent and urges the world's governments not to attack, but they vote to shoot it down regardless. Against orders, ESD pilot Jake Morrison picks up Levinson, Marceaux, Umbutu, and Floyd Rosenberg on a space tug the following day on July 4 and they head for the wreckage, where they recover a container. An alien mothership 3,000 miles wide[9] suddenly emerges and destroys Earth's planetary defense before approaching the planet. The space tug is caught in the mothership's artificial gravitational pull, which also lifts structures from most of Asia. The debris falls all across Europe, where the tug manages to escape before heading on to Area 51. The mothership lands over north of the Atlantic Ocean and begins drilling a hole through the bottom of it to harvest the heat of the core, which will destroy Earth's magnetic field in the process.

Upon the space tug's arrival at Area 51, Dr. Brakish Okun awakens after a twenty-year coma. He opens the container and releases a giant white sphere of virtual intelligence; its mission is evacuating survivors from worlds targeted by aliens, whom it calls Harvesters, and building a resistance force, one already profoundly feared by the invaders. Whitmore interrogates one of the Harvesters held in captivity since the last war. The ESD learns that the Harvesters, while similar to Earth's insect kingdom, are not like locusts as they initially believed but exist in eusociality and that one of their colossal Queens is commanding the invasion. They conclude if they kill the accompanying Queen, her forces will retreat to find another one. An ESD fleet of hybrid fighters, led by Captain Dylan Dubrow-Hiller, stages a counterattack on the Queen's chamber, but they are caught in a trap within the mothership, which wipes out nearly the entire unit. Dylan, along with Jake and fellow pilots Charlie Miller and Rain Lao, manages to escape by hijacking two enemy attack crafts. The Harvesters also raid the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, killing President Elizabeth Lanford along with most of her Cabinet, leading General Joshua Adams is immediately sworn in as Lanford's successor at Area 51.

Knowing the Queen has become aware of its presence, the sphere's sentience wants the ESD to destroy it to prevent the Harvesters from learning its secrets. The ESD forces instead hide the sphere in an isolation chamber, and use the space tug with a transmitter copying the sphere's signal as a decoy to lure the Queen's personal ship to a trap filled with fusion weapons. Against his daughter Patricia's wishes, Whitmore volunteers to pilot the space tug on the suicide mission, leading the warship to the trap and detonates the bombs, sacrificing himself, and destroying the ship. However, the Queen survives using an energy shield on her biomechanical suit. Patricia personally flies a hybrid fighter that neutralizes the Queen's shield, allowing Dylan's arriving party to kill the Queen before she can take the sphere. With the Queen dead, the mothership stops drilling and retreats from Earth. Okun reveals the sphere has asked them to lead the resistance, and offered them new technology in preparation to take the fight to the Harvesters' home world.

Movie :: Central intelligence (2016)

Central Intelligence is a 2016 American action comedy film directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and written by Thurber, Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen. The film stars Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart as two old high school friends who team up to save the world after one of them joins the CIA.

Plot:
In 1996, Calvin Joyner is being recognized for an award at the last high school pep rally. Meanwhile, Robbie Weirdicht, an overweight kid with no friends, gets carried out of the boys' locker room while showering by school bullies and is then thrown into the gym during the pep rally just as Calvin is receiving his award and is laughed upon his nude entrance. Calvin immediately takes off his jacket and gives it to Robbie who thanks Calvin and leaves the school.

Twenty years later, Calvin has married his high school sweetheart, Maggie, and works as an accountant. He is highly unsatisfied with his life as he is passed over for a promotion that was given to his former assistant. Maggie, however, is a partner at her law firm and is quite happy. She suggests they see a therapist to work on their marriage issues. Calvin does not want to go to their 20 year high school reunion taking place the next day. At the same time, Calvin receives a Facebook friend request from Bob Stone (actually Robbie, who has changed his name). They meet for drinks at a local pub. While at the pub, the pair gets into an argument with bullies who try to take Bob's chair. Bob takes out the bullies and then leaves with Calvin. Bob suggests the pair go back to their old high school and have Calvin reminisce about his glory days. Instead, Calvin is disappointed that he peaked in high school, and that his life has been declining since.

As Bob drops Calvin off at his house, he asks Calvin to look at some accounting records, saying he is having payroll issues. Bob's "accounting records" are actually satellite codes. Bob ends up spending the night on Calvin's couch. The next morning, the CIA, led by Pam, comes to Calvin's house in search of Bob. Calvin leads them to the living room where there is no evidence of Bob's presence. Pam informs Calvin that Bob is a dangerous rogue agent that killed his former partner, Phil, to obtain all U.S. satellite codes with the intention of selling them to the highest bidder.

As the CIA agents follow Calvin to his office, Bob successfully abducts Calvin, while explaining that he is trying to stop the "Black Badger" from selling the satellite codes, but needs Calvin's skills as a forensic accountant to figure out the exact location where the deal will happen. The pair is then attacked by Larry (a former CIA agent turned bounty hunter). During the attack, Calvin runs away but is intercepted by Pam. Pam informs Calvin that Bob is delusional and the "Black Badger" doesn't exist. She gives Calvin a device that will alert the CIA to his whereabouts when he is reunited with Bob. Calvin then goes to marriage counseling where Bob is posing as the marriage counselor (the real counselor he has tied up, gagged and stashed in the office closet). Bob convinces Calvin to help him and Calvin sets up a meeting with Trevor (one of Bob's bullies) so they can obtain the account number that reveals the location of the deal. Trevor helps them, but not before bullying Bob again by pretending to apologize for the past and then calling him fat. Calvin encourages Bob to punch out Trevor just like he did to the bullies at the bar, but Bob freezes up. As they are leaving Trevor's office, Pam calls Calvin and threatens to arrest Maggie if he doesn't turn Bob in. Calvin betrays Bob and Bob is arrested.

As Bob is being tortured by Pam, as she believes that he has the satellite codes, Calvin decides to help Bob. He successfully breaks him out and the two get away. Calvin figures out the location of the deal is in Boston and Bob steals a golden plane. As the pair arrive in a park at Boston, Calvin deduces that the deal must be going down in an underground parking garage, as it wouldn't be out in the open. Bob tells Calvin to stay in the park and enters the garage alone. However, Pam shows up, and Calvin mistakenly believes her to be the Black Badger and runs into the garage where Bob is posing as the Black Badger while meeting the buyer. Bob shoots Calvin, grazing his neck and knocking him backwards out of the room (which puts him out of the action, therefore saving his life). Bob's former partner Phil reveals himself to still be alive and claims to be the real Black Badger. While both Bob and Phil try to convince the buyer that they are the real Black Badger, each with a USB containing the satellite codes, the CIA arrives and a shootout commences. Calvin steals both sets of satellite codes and runs upstairs back into the park where he is intercepted by both Bob and Phil. As Bob and Phil engage in hand-to-hand combat, Calvin, not knowing whom to trust, closes his eyes and fires a shot that hits Bob in the butt. After Phil knocks Bob out, Phil reveals that Phil is the Black Badger and is about to shoot Calvin. Bob tackles Phil and kills him by ripping his throat out. Bob believes that Calvin shot him as part of a plan to trick Phil into confessing. Calvin goes along with it.

The pair arrive at the high school reunion in a CIA helicopter where Maggie spots them. She questions Calvin about his weird behavior and why he is with the marriage counselor. Bob properly introduces himself and explains the truth. As the three enter the gym where the reunion is held, Bob is having second thoughts since he didn't have any other friends in high school. Calvin convinces him to stay where he is, as he is about to be announced as the Homecoming King. Calvin reveals to Maggie that he hacked the voting systems and made Bob the king. As Bob is walking to the stage to accept his position, Trevor steps in his way and attempts to start bullying him again. Bob knocks Trevor unconscious with one punch and goes on stage where he re-lives his most embarrassing moment by taking off all his clothes. This time, however, he is full of confidence. As he walks off stage, he spots his high school crush, Darla, and the two share a kiss.

In the closing scene, it is shown that Calvin has joined the CIA and as a gift for his first day on the job, Bob gives him back the Golden Jet jacket that Calvin gave him back in high school.

Movie :: Warcraft (2016)

Warcraft (alternatively known as Warcraft: The Beginning) is a 2016 American fantasy film directed by Duncan Jones and written by Jones, Charles Leavitt and Chris Metzen. It is based on the Warcraft video game series and novels set in the world of Azeroth. The film stars Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Robert Kazinsky and Daniel Wu. The film portrays the initial encounters between the humans and the orcs and takes place in a variety of locations established in the video game series. The film was first announced in 2006 as a project partnership between Legendary Pictures and the game's developer, Blizzard Entertainment.

Plot:
Draenor, the homeworld of the orcs, is being torn apart by a mysterious force known as fel magic. An orc warlock known as Gul'dan unites the orc clans and forms the Horde, and creates a portal to the world of Azeroth. The orcs begin to use fel magic to drain the life out of captive draenei in order to sustain the portal. Once it is operational, Gul'dan leads a small warband to capture prisoners on Azeroth and sacrifice them to bring the rest of the Horde through the portal. Despite their doubts,

Durotan, the chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan, his pregnant mate Draka, and his friend Orgrim Doomhammer join this initial warband. While crossing through the portal, Draka goes into labor. When the orcs arrive on Azeroth, Gul'dan assists Draka with giving birth, but the baby is stillborn. Gul'dan then drains the life out of a nearby deer to revive and infuse fel magic into the baby, which Durotan later names Go'el.

The orcs raid several settlements throughout Azeroth. Anduin Lothar, the military commander of the human forces in the Stormwind Kingdom, looks over some of the men that were killed, and finds a trespassing mage named Khadgar, who explains that he was investigating the dead bodies because they contained traces of fel magic. Khadgar persuades Stormwind's king, Llane Wrynn, to consult Medivh, the fabled Guardian of Tirisfal, and Llane sends Anduin and Khadgar to Medivh's stronghold, Karazhan, to inform him of the fel magic's presence on Azeroth. In the Karazhan library, a ghostly shadow leads Khadgar to a mysterious book, which he takes.

Anduin, Khadgar and Medivh join a scouting team following traces of fel magic, but are ambushed by orcs. Medivh uses a spell to kill most of the orcs, and the Horde's warchief, Blackhand, flees, along with Durotan and Orgrim. Khadgar restrains the half-orc known as Garona, and the soldiers take her prisoner. King Llane frees Garona in exchange for loyalty to Stormwind, and she leads the humans to spy on the orc camp, where they learn of Gul'dan's plan to bring the Horde to Azeroth. Meanwhile, Durotan realizes that the fel magic is responsible for the destruction of Draenor, and if Gul'dan is not thwarted, Azeroth will suffer the same fate. Despite Orgrim's objections, Durotan invites Llane to a secret meeting so that the Frostwolf Clan and the humans can unite to defeat Gul'dan. While studying the book he took from Karazhan, Khadgar learns that Gul'dan could not have opened the portal on his own; he had help from someone on Azeroth. He is confronted by Medivh, who burns Khadgar's research when Khadgar offers to help him with his work.

The Frostwolf Clan meets with the humans to negotiate an alliance, but the group is ambushed by Blackhand. As the humans retreat, Medivh forms a magical barrier to protect them, but Lothar's son Callan is separated from the rest of the group and killed by Blackhand. Medivh is severely weakened, and Garona and Khadgar take him back to Karazhan to recover. After noticing Medivh's eyes shine green, showing that he is infected by fel magic, Khadgar returns to his former home, Dalaran, to seek help from a group of human magi called the Kirin Tor. Alodi, a legendary mage and the true identity of the shadow who led Khadgar to the book, reveals that Medivh has indeed been corrupted by fel magic and possessed by an unknown demon. At the orc camp, Blackhand purges the Frostwolf Clan. Orgrim helps Draka to escape, and she sends Go'el down a river in a basket, but is then found and killed by another orc. Durotan challenges Gul'dan to Mak'gora, a traditional orcish duel to the death for leadership of a clan – in this case, all of the orcs. During the fight, Gul'dan violates the honorable combat rules by draining the life out of Durotan with his magic, killing him and earning the disapproval of the orcs watching, and he empowers Blackhand with the same magic. Medivh, now in a half-demonic state, starts to open the portal to Draenor, and Gul'dan sacrifices the captured human villagers to allow the rest of the Horde to enter Azeroth.

Llane leads the human army in an assault on the orc camp, while Anduin and Khadgar fight Medivh and destroy the demon that had begun to manifest on the outside. Medivh is left mortally wounded, and uses the last of his strength to close the portal to Draenor and instead open a portal to Stormwind, allowing Llane to evacuate most of the freed prisoners. When Medivh eventually dies, the portal closes, leaving Llane, Garona and a small number of human soldiers to fight the orcs. Llane secretly orders Garona to kill him, bringing her honor among the orcs and putting her in a position of power to bring peace between the two races. Garona reluctantly does so, and is welcomed into the Horde by Gul'dan. As the orcs celebrate, Anduin arrives to retrieve King Llane's body and discovers Garona's knife in the body, realizing that it was she who had killed their king. Blackhand challenges Anduin to Mak'gora, and Anduin quickly disposes of him. Against Gul'dan's demands, the orcs, bound by tradition, allow Anduin to depart with Llane's body. At Llane's funeral in Stormwind, the leaders of the other human nations, along with the high elves and dwarves, proclaim an alliance against the orcs and rally behind Anduin as the leader of the Alliance forces. Elsewhere, Orgrim takes one of Durotan's tusks to one day give to Go'el, and the basket containing Go'el is found by a human.

Movie :: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of The Shadow (2016)

Credit:

- Wikipedia

Plot:
One year after their battle with the Shredder, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, still live beneath the sewers, having allowed Vern Fenwick to take the credit for Shredder's defeat. April O'Neil discovers that a scientist named Baxter Stockman is working for Shredder and that he plans to help Shredder escape from prison. April informs the turtles about this. As Shredder is transferred between prisons with two criminals alongside him, Bebop and Rocksteady, by corrections officer Casey Jones, the Foot Clan attack the convoy transporting him.

Despite the turtles interference, Shredder escapes when Stockman uses a teleportation device. But Shredder is hijacked mid-teleport and winds up in another dimension. There, he meets the alien warlord Krang, who tells him about his plans to invade Earth and gives him a mutagenic compound in exchange for his promise to find three components of a machine that Krang sent to Earth long ago, which will open a portal to his dimension when united, and he knows that Shredder and Stockman have the first piece. After Casey's failure to transport the prisoners, he decides to go out on his own.

Shredder returns to New York City and recruits Bebop and Rocksteady, who also escaped, and has Stockman use Krang's mutagen to transform them into powerful animal mutants - a warthog and rhinoceros. April witnesses their transformation and is able to steal the vial of mutagen. Pursued by the Foot, she is rescued by Casey, who uses hockey gear. In the enusing battle, the vial of mutagen is taken into police custody. April then introduces Casey to the turtles. In the lair, Donatello deduces that the mutagen could be used to turn the turtles into humans, enabling them to live normal lives above ground, but Leonardo refuses and insists on keeping it a secret from the others. However, Michelangelo overhears their conversation and tells Raphael, leading to a fierce argument between the brothers. Leonardo benches Raphael and takes Mikey off the mission. In the National Museum in New York, Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady are able to find the second piece and steal it, before Leonardo and Donatello arrive. Still furious, Raphael recruits Mikey, April, Casey, and Vern to break into the NYPD police headquarters and retrieve the mutagen. Vern distracts the police, while April and Casey retrieve the mutagen, but the Foot arrive ahead of them. In the enusing battle, the turtles existence is revealed to the police, who react with fear and hatred. April and Casey intervene and help the brothers escape, but April and Casey are arrested. The police also see on TCRI's cameras that April stole the mutagen.

With Shredder's forces having already recovered two pieces of the device, the turtles track Bebop and Rocksteady as they recover the final piece in the Brazilian forest. The turtles confront Bebop and Rocksteady in their jet and in the enusing battle, the jet is destroyed. But Bebop and Rocksteady manage to escape with the final component. The turtles return to New York as Shredder and Stockman complete the portal device and open the gateway to Krang's dimension, through which his modular war machine, the Technodrome, begins to emerge. Shredder betrays Stockman and has his men take him away to their headquarters in Tokyo, but upon entering the Technodrome, Krang immediately betrays Shredder, freezing him and locking him away with his collection of other defeated foes. April calls Vern to find out about the camera that incriminated in TCRI.
Seeing no way to combat the Technodrome, the turtles debate over taking the mutagen in order to become humans and fight openly. Though Leonardo agrees to do it, Raphael shatters the vial, realizing they must accept who they are. Vern recovers security footage that proves Stockman's and Shredder's crimes and secures April and Casey's release, allowing them to set up a meeting between the turtles and police chief Rebecca Vincent, where they convince her that they are not enemies and that they were the ones who took down Shredder in the first place. With the help of the police, the turtles are able to confront Krang aboard the still-assembling Technodrome. Meanwhile, Casey keeps Bebop and Rocksteady busy and defeats them while April and Vern defeat Shredder's lieutenant Karai and take control of the portal device. The turtles are able to hurl the Technodrome back through the portal, taking Krang and the rest of the Technodrome with it. April, Casey, and Vern then shut the portal down. As he disappears, Krang swears he will return for revenge.

In the aftermath, Bebop and Rocksteady are taken back into custody, while Stockman remains at large. At night, the Turtles are honored by Vincent and the NYPD, along with April, Casey, and Vern, and she said to give an opportunity to the people and accept them, but the turtles elect to keep their existence a secret from the public, but they will always have help when they want.

Movie :: The Angry Birds (2016)

Who have ever play Angry Birds in your smartphone? I'm sure most of you know this game. In 2016, there's a movie of Angry Birds. It's so funny.

Link:
- IMDB
- WIkipedia

Plot:
In Bird Island, an island inhabited by flightless birds, Red works as a cake-delivery clown and is sentenced to anger management classes after his temper causes a "premature hatching" of a customer's egg. He lives alone by the seaside, reclusive and ostracized because of his orphan status and bushy eyebrows. One day, in the middle of a class taught by Matilda and attended by fellow students Charles "Chuck", Bomb, and Terrence, a boat docks at the island's shore. It carries green-colored pigs, who claim to be peaceful explorers bringing offerings of friendship, and are accepted on the island. They introduce the awe-struck birds to innovative technologies such as slingshots and helium balloons.

More pigs arrive and seemingly adjust to society, but Red becomes suspicious of their motives, as they slowly overwhelm the island. He recruits Chuck and Bomb to help him find Mighty Eagle, a giant bald eagle said to be the protector of the island, and the only bird that can fly. They manage to find him on top of Bird Mountain. However, they discover that Mighty Eagle can barely fly, is self-absorbed, overweight, and largely in retirement. Looking through the Mighty Eagle's binoculars, Red's group discover that the pigs are planting explosives around the island, having distracted the birds with a rave party. They realize that the pigs plan to steal the birds' eggs for food. Red and Bomb attempt to retrieve the eggs, while Chuck attempts to warn the rest of the birds, but the pigs escape and their explosives destroy the village. When the birds realize what happened, Red rallies them to let their anger loose and take back their eggs.

The birds construct a boat and sail to Piggy Island, where they find the pigs living in a walled city. Deducing the eggs are most likely in the central castle of the city, the birds attack the pigs by firing themselves into the pig village using a giant slingshot gifted to them by the pigs, which is later accidentally broken by Terence. Red, Chuck, and Bomb make it to the castle and find the eggs in a boiler room, where the pigs plan to cook and eat them. Mighty Eagle arrives, having had a change of heart, and carries the eggs out. As the birds escape, an egg falls out and rolls back into the castle. Red returns to the castle, retrieves the egg, and survives Piggy Island's destruction caused by the pigs' reserve of explosives.

Red survives and saves three, blue newborn birds that hatched from the egg after the explosion. Red is then declared a hero and given a new home. He, Chuck, and Bomb are approached by Mighty Eagle, who claims that he wasn't lazy but rather deliberately made the birds lose faith in him so they could find faith in themselves.

In a mid-credits sequence, it is revealed that some of the pigs have survived Piggy Island's destruction, while Leonard is "hatching" a new plan to steal the eggs.
In a second mid-credits scene, the three blue birds rescued by Red use the rebuilt slingshot to launch themselves out to sea.
