Namdaemun Market 남대문시장 :: Day 07 :: South Korea Winter Escape Trip 6-15 January 2017

From Gwanjang Market, we go to Namdaemun Market 남대문시장 for buy some souvenir.

Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market in Korea with shops selling various goods. All products are sold at affordable prices and the stores in this area also function as wholesale markets. Most of the goods are made directly by the storeowners. Namdaemun Market is even open overnight, from 11:00pm to 4:00am, and is crowded with retailers from all over the country. When day breaks, the site of busy shoppers bustling around the market creates a unique scene that attracts tourists worldwide. Namdaemun Market sells a variety of clothes, glasses, kitchenware, toys, mountain gear, fishing equipment, stationery, fine arts, accessories, hats, carpets, flowers, ginseng, and imported goods.

Go to Hyehyeon Station, exit 5 and you will see a lot of store in there. Walk through the alley, spend about 2-3 hours in there.

Namdaemun operated from 23:00 to 17:00 the next day. And it close on Sunday.

I buy some Key Chain, Korean Socks, Winter Hats, and walk around.
