Jade Garden :: Day 04 :: South Korea Winter Escape Trip 6-15 January 2017

After eating lunch at Lotteria near Sangbong Station, then we continue to Jade Garden.
To go to Jade Garden, you have to ride subway and stop at Gulbongsan Station.

Arrive at Gulbongsan Station, there's a shuttle bus to go to Jade Garden.

Free shuttle bus time from Gulbongsan Station to Jade Garden:
- 10:45
- 11:45
- 12:45
- 13:45
- 14:45

The shuttle bus is free. It took about 30 minutes to go to Jade Garden Entrance. The ticket entrance fee is KRW 8.500/pax.

Don't forget to remember the time to go back, never missed the shuttle bus or you have to ride taxi. And I think you need to wait for a while.

Jade Garden Natural Aburetum 제이드가든 수목원 created under the theme of "Small Europe in the Forest," is located near Jade Palace Golf Club on a plot of land measuring 160,000 square meters. The 24 distinctively-themed areas in the garden boast a total of 3,000 plant species including rhododendrons, maple trees, irises, and blueberry bushes as well as patches of thick, natural forests. The arboretum makes the most out of its natural valley topography and presents visitors with a mix of tidy gardens, graceful flowers, and an array of European-style architecture.

For the convenience of guests, Jade Garden operates a Tuscan-style visitor’s center where patrons can enjoy a simple snack or beverage and purchase souvenirs. Visitors may choose from three different walking courses (each 2 hours in length) around the arboretum and a gardening program is also available for aspiring gardeners.

Famous of film locations from:

Open Time: 09:00-Sunset (18:00~19:30) (* Last admission is 1 hour before closing)

On Winter, the weather is really cold eventough there's no snow. Maybe because it's located near the north.

So you need to wear extra clothes if you want to go on winter. Even there's nothing we can see in here.

We meet some Indonesian Tourists in there.

There's a small cafe in the middle of the garden. We buy hot chocolate (KRW 4.500) because it's too cold. It's a pity, the staff is so rude. Maybe because it's too cold :D

After finished walking around, we decided to go back to Gulbongsan Station by free shuttle bus. The time is:
- 10:20
