Reschedule and Refund Airline Ticket from Travel Agent / OTA (Online Travel Agent) because of Pandemic Corona Virus (Covid-19)

Sometimes, we prefer to buy flight ticketing from travel agent or OTA because we want simple ways. But if we have to cancel or reschedule the flight, we have to contact the travel agent / OTA itself.

As a travel agency, because of Corona Virus / Covid-19, many people cancel and ask for refund. And thoise who buy flight ticketing from me, they only able to make refund / reschedule through my agency. Started from March 2020, many people ask for refund. And so far, only certain airline has already process the refund.

3. Agoda

I have 2 non-refundable voucher from Agoda. And due this Covid-19, I'm very sure I won't travelling. So I try to contact the hotel by email, and inform them my reason (besides some my flight has been cancelled), and all of them reply me that I'm able to get refund through Agoda.

Then I will contact Agoda, with screenshot from the hotel's reply. And Agoda respons me within 24 hours that they are able to give me refund, but by Agoda Cash. No problem, I often use Agoda to book my accomodation. And within 7 workdays, the Agoda cash has been updated and ready to use.

Pick up Our Visa and Passport :: South Korea Winter Escape Trip 6-15 January 2017

The travel agent call us today, and tell that the visa has been approved and we can take our passport. So, I go there in the afternoon to take the passport.

Now, time to waiting, prepare the itinery, and our luggage.

Actually, this time, I didn't make special itinery. I just collect information about attraction place that I haven't visited yet, and keep it. Me and Vivi (my friend), will decide where to go H-1.

And because I go on Winter, I need to check weather forecast everyday, so I will not get wrong place in the wrong weather.

Rent a Car at Malaysia with Jalan Jajan Hemat

Because this time, I go to Malaysia with other 8 people (7 adult and 1 baby), so I decided it's convenient if we rent car and driver.

I browse through internet, and found one blog. The travel agent name is Jalan Jajan Hemat, located at Jakarta, Indonesia.

If you need a car in Malaysia / Singapore, you can contact Jalan Jajan Hemat (JJH), via email: sales@jalanjajanhemat.com.  Mrs Katherina will gladly reply you as soon as possible. Just don't forget to give detail of your trip plan so JJH could help you arrange the transportation. Or if you still didn't know where to go, you can ask JJH to arrange a tour for you.

I think their price is reasonable. Because I found another travel agent, is more expensive than JJH.

Once you confirm your booking and make a payment, then they will ask the name of the voucher (same with passport), and your phone number that you bring to Malaysia and send you the voucher via email.

I print the voucher 3 times, because I use the service for 3 different days, and I'm afraid they will ask for it each day.

1/2 days before the day, Mrs Katherina will give you detail about the driver and their phone and vehicle number that you will use. And how you will meet them.

I recomended this travel agent, if you want to rent a car for group at Malaysia / Singapore. I think they have the best service and driver. The driver is really kind, and nice. They help us if we need information.

All the price has already include petrol, toll, parking fee, and driver's fee. But we have to give tip for the driver.
