Renew My Passport (1)

My passport will expired on August 2014, so now I can't go abroad because one of the requirements to go abroad is that your passport expired date is not less than 6 months.

So I have to renewed it.

Here I am, today I go to Yogyakarta Immigration Office to renewed my passport.

Arrived at immigration office, I ask for the form. The application form is official, which means you can't copy it because there's a special number that indicated the application form. Ask the guard if you confusing how to fill the application form. They will be nicely guide you.

Then I fill the application form, and take the queue number for Passport applications. I got A87 & A88 (for my brothers), and it's only A52 now. Wow.. I have to wait for 30th more. T_T

But...

30 people passed so quickly. Not until 1 hour, they call me. Once your requirements was accepted, then you will got report to make a payment at the bank BNI and when will you take photos and interview.

Remember, immigration office open from 8 o'clock. You can take the queue number from 08:00 to 11:00 only. They start to call the queue from 08:30.

For Indonesian People, the requirements documents for renewed passport are:
- KTP / Indonesia ID Card (original + 1 copy A4, don't cut, and don't fold)
- Birth Certificate (original + 1 copy)
- KK / Kartu Keluarga / Family Card (original + 1 copy)
- Old Passport (original + 1 copy A4 of the front and the back, don't cut and don't fold)

The fee of make a new passport or renewed, is IDR 200.000 with service + tax IDR 55.000. So Total IDR 255.000

I have to take photos and interview from 13th March 2014 to 1 month after the date. Before take photos, you have to make the payment first at Bank BNI. Just show the report from immigration, and let Bank BNI do the rest. The fee from bank is IDR 5.000.

So the total payment to make passport / renewed is IDR 260.000/person.

It's easy, only need time to do it. :)

Sunrise at Punthuk Setumbu, Borobudur Temple > Magelang ~ Central Java ~ Indonesia

Woke up at 3 o'clock, and go to Borobudur Temple at 4 o'clock. Me, my brother, and my brother's girlfriend also my brother's friends went to Setumbu to watch sunrise. Punthuk Setumbu located near Borobudur Temple. You can see the sunrise with background Borobudur Temple, Mount Merapi, and Mount Merbabu.

Don't forget to bring tripod to take photos.

The ticket entrance is IDR 15.000 for local. And we have to walk uphill for a while. Use comfortable shoes and bring flashlight because it's still dark. Wear jacket too because it's cold.

Once arrived at Punthuk Setumbu, there's so many people in there. Most of them are tourists.

Unfortunately, it's cloudy. So the sunrise didn't shown enough.

And the morning fog started to cover whole area, so we have to go back.

De Mata Trick Eye Museum at XT Square > Yogyakarta ~ Special District of Yogyakarta ~ Indonesia

After eating lunch at Indische Koffie, we went to De Mata Trick Eye Museum at XT Square. XT Square located at Jl Veteran RT 016/05.

You can see 3D painting in here and take picture, looks like you are inside the picture. But becareful with you angle and lighting.

The staff will guide you with every picture, but I think it's better if you take the picture using your own skill. Because not every picture which the staff take is good.

Today, I went to Yogya with my friends. And we decided to eat lunch at Indische Koffie.

Located : Jl Jend. A. Yani No. 6 Benteng Vredeburg Ngupasan Gondomanan Yogyakarta Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia (Phone: +62274580004), the cafe was inside Benteng Vredeburg, near Malioboro Street. It closed on Monday.

It's been a long time I want to come here. Finally, there's a chance.
The cafe itself was ordinary, only the building looks like ancient house / fortress. For those who love history, would like to come here and enjoy the building.

They serve western food.

The price is standard cafe. Not too expensive.

2014 KGSP-Graduate - Notice by NIID

Finally, the notice is come out. Usually, the notice will come out on early February each year. If you have desired to apply scholarship at South Korea, then never missed the notice.

I want to try it for this year. Half year ago, I found the major master degree at Sookmyung Women's University, for MBA (MA) Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality Management. Then, I found this Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) by NIID (National Institute of International Education. So, I'm waiting for it and decided to apply for it.

There are two method to apply the program.
1. by respective Korean Embassy
2. for the Designated University

You can download the guidelines through the notice. Read carefully, and follow the instructions. If you read it clearly, you will understand what have needed to apply.

Download te attached file list, and read it carefully.
Read the guidelines first, then choose which method you want to apply.
Then Choose the University and Major at 4-2014 GKS Graduate Courses University Information (English).
Beware about the deadline.
Preparing all the documents.
And send it.

IMPORTANT: Don't forget to check the deadline!
If you choose via embassy, then call your embassy to check the deadline of KGSP.
If you choose via university, then check their website, or university information about the deadline of applications. Or you can email your university for further information.

REMEMBER: not all embassy or university has the same deadline as what is written at KGSP Guidelines. The deadline at KGSP guidelines, only the guide that show you how usually the deadline take time.

Culinary :: Villa Sumbing Indah, Kalegen > Magelang ~ Central Java ~ Indonesia

My cousin's wife and his children still in Magelang, after celebrate Chinese New Year together. So I took them to eat dinner at Villa Sumbing Indah, Kalegen- Magelang. (http://villa-sumbing-indah-id.com/topic1/index-en.html)

Villa Sumbing Indah is a hotel, with western restaurant. We come here to eat their steak. I made reservation at 15:00 for reservation at 17:00. They said, we have to come on time because so many people reserved for that day. It's long weekend, so I'm not surprised if a lot of people will come here to eat.

The place was comfortable to hangout.

Actually, it's been many times I'm eating here. And for real, the taste always different. I don't know why. But fortunately, today the taste of food was really delicious.

2014 Chinese New Year Dinner Reunion

As usual, we celebrat Chinese New Year Eve by Gathering with family. This time, because the Chinese New year was on Friday, so many people can go back home to celebrate together.

Parang Tritis Beach, located at Bantul, and very famous for tourists. When it's holiday, many people come to this beach for refreshing.

2013 Nov 09 to 2013 Nov 10, I spend the night at Queen of the South Beach Resort, Parang Tritis Beach for Hakka Go Green event. The resort located at Parang Tritis Beach. The road to the resort was extreme. It's too ascend. For private car, it's okay, but for bus, it's too dangerous.

The resort was beautiful, but still on renovation. It face the sea. When the night come, the light scene was beautiful. It's a bit chill, so don't forget to wear jacket.
