Woke up a little bit late today, to pay the time of sleep of yesterday. We start our journey at 09:00. Our first destination is 감천문화마을 Gamcheon Culture Village.

Gamcheon Culture Village or also known as Santorini on the South Sea, or Taeguekdo Village. The village is a panorama of endless rows of low-rise cubicle homes climbing up the steep hillsides from the sea below, their cheerful blue, yellow and pink hues a delight to the eye. Narrow stone and concrete alleyways wind their way through the homes, yielding something new at every turn.

From Elysee Motel Busan, go to Nampo Metro Station, ride subway to 도성/土城 Toseong Metro Station (orange line), go exit 6, then you will see intersection, turn right and walk until you meet hospital. The bus stop to Gamcheon is in front of the hospital. Ride bus no 2 / 2-2 to 감천문화마을 Gamcheon Culture Village, and stop right in front of Gamcheon Elementary School.

We use the direction in the map, so we know where we heading. And it's useful, because we know where to go.

 We spent almost 3 hours in there.

용두산 공원 Yongdusan Park & 부산타워 Busan Tower > Busan, South Korea > Day 02 (6) - 2014 October 09 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

After eat dessert, before back to hotel to resting, we decided to come by Yongdusan Park. It's beautiful even at night. From Nampo-Dong District, you can ride elevator (it's really long and high) to reach this place.

There's Busan Tower, the Statue of the Great Admiral Yi Sun-shin, the Bell of the Citizens, a flower clock, the Museum of Musical Instruments of the World, and a bust of the Busan-based independent activist, Baeksan An Hee-je.

Busan Tower is a symbol of Busan that stands proudly 69m above sea level at a height of 120m. The top of the tower is modeled after the baldaquin of Dabotap Pagoda in Bulguksa Temple, Gyeongju.

The view from Yongdusan Park is beautiful. The Busan Light is really glamorous.

South Korea is famous as love country. And it's famous with the love locks.

It's 22:00 already, and we didn't get enough sleep yesterday. So we decided to back to hotel for rest. Good Night, see you tomorrow..

설빙 Sulbing / Korean Dessert Cafe > Busan, South Korea > Day 02 (5) - 2014 October 09 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

Time for dessert. We go back to the shopping street at Nampo. On the way there, we passed BIFF Square.

Korean Dessert Cafe is a famous dessert cafe in Korea. It's originally from Busan and located at Nampo Shopping District (there's another branch in other area too, even in other city). We order the famous 인절미 injeolmi which cost W6000. Injeolmi also known as Korean Rice Cake coated in sweet bean powder. It's delicious. Even the weather is cold, but it's nice to eat dessert.

This place is quiet famous, so many people eat here for evening snack.

In Korea, when you eat in restaurant, always do the self service. You can order and the waiter will give you an alarm machine which will tell you if your order is ready and when your order ready, you have to take it by your own. And after you finished, you have to take your tray to tray rack.

자갈치시장 Jagalchi Market > Busan, South Korea > Day 02 (4) - 2014 October 09 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

After dinner, we go to Jagalchi Market. Jagalchi Culture Tourism Festival coincidentally being held in there, so there's so many people.

On the way there, I found 호떡 Hoddeok, Korean Sweet Pancake. It's delicious and cheap.

Jagalchi Market is Korea's largest seafood market. This market represents Busan and is famous throughout the country.

You can see a lot of people sell seafood in there. You can buy raw seafood then ask ahjuma to cook it.

2nd floor of Jagalchi Market is restaurant. Many people eat in there. But I heard that it's quiet expensive. I didn't have a chance to eat here.

We also go to the back side of Jagalchi Market, which we can see the sea and night view of Busan

Lotte Mall at Gwangbok, Nampo

Some of the people in there, could speak Chinese. And it's better than English. My friend has a chance to ask for fish meat, and it's quiet expensive.

After take some picture, we decided to eat Korea Dessert.

After we check-in and put our luggage, it's already evening. And we are starving. But we don't know what to eat. So we ask Mr Son (owner of Elysee Motel Busan).

And he give us a lot of recomendation of restaurant to eat and place to visit.

We decided to try Bongchu Jjimdak Restaurant. It's easy to go there because of the map. The map is really helpful.

We order small portion (for 2 person), and it's really a big portion for us.

In South Korea, the eating tools is always available in each table.

And don't worry for drinking. They always provide free water.

After eating, we are ready to walk around Nampo.

엘리제모텔 Elysee Motel Busan > Busan, South Korea > Day 02 (2) - 2014 October 09 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

Once we arrive at Busan, we directly go to the hotel for check-in because we bought a very heavy luggage. There's some way to go to the hotel, by using Airport Limousine Bus or Subway. I choose subway because it's cheaper (But I regret it later, because it's not convenient if you bring a heavy luggage. And I suggest you using airport limousine bus also known as express bus which a little more expensive but convenient).

From Gimhae International Airport, go outside to the metro station, Gimhae International Airport (line Gimhae Light Rail Transit/Purple), then buy ticket to Sasang Station (line 2/green). Because it's different line (airport line and metro line), so we have to stop at Sasang Station first. From Sasang Station, we go to Nampo Station (line 1/orange) by transit at Seomyeon Station (transfer station between line 1/orange & line2/green).

Don't forget to buy T-Money card at convenient store (7-11/c&u/GS25). It cost W2500 for the card, and just top up whatever you want (from W1000 to W100.000).

Elysee Motel Busan located near Exit 5 or 7 of Nampo Station. The owner give me email of map direction to the hotel from either exit. Altough it's only took 5-10 minutes by walk, but because it's hill-up, and we bring our heavy luggage, it tooks more time.

The owner is really nice and kind. Check-in proccess is fast. The room is big, didn't like motel at all. The bathroom also large. There's a hot water and bathub. They provide body wash, and shampoo. There's also steamer inside the bathroom if you want to sauna.

Besides the room, we also feel South Korea atmosphere, from the door key and shoes place. Before you enter the room, you have to take off your shoes in the special place between the door and room, then you can wear home sandals inside the room.

I satisfied with this hotel. It's clean and modern but with budget price. Also located in the centre of city, just right beside Yongdusan Park and Busan Tower. Also walking distance to nearest subway, shopping street, Jagalchi Market, and BIFF square. From KTX Busan Station, also take less than 5 minutes by taxi.

You can get self-service breakfast. They provide bread, egg, cereal, milk, coffee, and tea. You can cook by your own just remember to wash it after used.

Kuala Lumpur - Busan > Busan, South Korea > Day 02 (1) - 2014 October 09 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

We took airport shuttle to KLIA2 at 06:00. A lot of people go there too. The hotel provided 2 MVP car.

Once arrive at KLIA2, we drop our baggage at U-V Counter. Only one destination in this counter, Busan (South Korea), and because this is extra large plane, which there's 3-3-3 seat, so a lot of people queue to check-in/drop baggage.

After drop our baggage, we entering the imigration and have a chance to walk around boarding gate. Then we wait for boarding at waiting room.

At 08:00, we boarding and depart at 08:30.

We bought Airasia Meal because the long journey and it's lunch time. I bought Uncle Chin's Chicken Rice (Hainanese) and also hot milo.

The air conditionair inside the plane is really cold. But fortunately, I have prepared the thick jacket because it's autumn in South Korea, and it will a little bit chill.

The journey take approximately 6 hours 15 minutes and South Korea time is 1 hour later than Kuala Lumpur. So we arrive at Gimhae International Airport Busan at 15:45. The airport not too big.

Our friend pick us at Airport. Then we go to hotel by Subway. We stay at Elysee Motel Busan, just in the centre city of Busan.

The YouniQ Hotel Sepang > Kuala Lumpur ~ Malaysia > Day 01 (2) - 2014 October 08 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

The YouniQ Hotel Sepang, located at Sepang, near airport area. It took 20 minutes by car.

The hotel provided Airport Shuttle which cost only 5 Ringgit. They said, if you go there by taxi, it will cost 15-20 Ringgit.

After you make a reservation, just ask for shuttle from the hotel website, and what time do you want to be picked up. For KLIA2, the pick-up and drop-off time is even time (00:00, 02:00, 04:00, ect). And you make the payment while check-in, and also make appointment to drop off in the next days.

If you feel didn't comfortable with the distance, there's TUNE HOTELS KLIA2 right in front of the airport (walking distance 10 minutes). But the price is quiet expensive.

The hotel is YouniQ. It located in the big street. But it's comfortable. Too bad, they didn't provide mineral water inside the room. So don't forget to bought some in the airport of if you want, you can cook by boiling water machine which provided in the room.

The Journey Begin > Day 01 (1) - 2014 October 08 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

Today is it. My journey to South Korea for 13th days. Ticket: Check, Hotel Voucher: Check, so time to start our journey.

At 13:15, we depart from Magelang. My friend's parents take us to Adisucipto International Airport Yogyakarta. We eat lunch at Blabak Ayam Goreng Special.

At 14:45 we arrive at Adisucipto International Airport. Luckily, the baggage drop counter didn't have any people, so we can directly put drop our luggage and document checked.

Then we decided to killing-time at Cafe. The restaurant and cafe's price at Airport is really expensive.

At 16:00 we enter imigration and wait for boarding at Waiting Room.
At 16:55 boarding and at 17:20 we depart.

The flight from Yogyakarta to Kuala Lumpur, take 2 hours and 35 minutes. But because the difference time between Yogyakarta and Kuala Lumpur which Kuala Lumpur 1 hours later than Yogyakarta, so we arrive at Kuala Lumpur at 20:40. We got sunset in the plane.

Airasia terminal at Kuala Lumpur move from LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal) to KLIA2, which more large and comfortable. You can spend time by shopping. So many shop in there.

From arrival gate to imigration, it took almost 20-30 minutes walking. It's so big airport. Even the baggage, need some time to arrive at the baggage claimed. We almost spend 1.5 hours to get out from the arrival. By the time we come out, it's already 21:45 local time. I bought ramen at Ramen Ten restaurant for supper at Hotel. Then we wait for the hotel airport pick-up at 22:00 in frong of Old Town White Coffe (just right outside of the arrival gate).

Tonight, we stay at YouniQ Hotel Sepang.
