Lunch Bulgogi Jungol / Korean Marinated Beef > Gyeongju, South Korea > Day 04 (2) - 2014 October 11 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

When we arrived at Bulguksa Temple, it's already noon. So we decided to eat lunch first. There's so many local restaurant nearby, and some of ahjumma give you a pamphlet with their restaurant menu. So becareful, once you take the pamphlet, ahjumma will calling you times to times as long as you are still in there. But for polite, just take the pamphlet and smile. Just pretend that you don't know what they talking about if you didn't want to eat in their restaurant.

This street located in front of Bulguksa Car Parking, there's a lot of restaurant along this street.

We found Bulgogi restaurant and decided to eat Bulgogi. We have to order 2 portion minimum for 1 menu. I'm not understand why maybe because 1 portion of food is very little and the bowl or plate is designed for 2 portion. So they will serve the 2 portion become one bowl/plate. There's also the side dish.

It's yummy. It's really different from what I ate outside Korea. And I really love the soup. It's refreshing. Especially in cold autumn or winter.

Actually, eating in South Korea is quiet expensive (for me).

One portion of bulgogi Jungol cost 15.000 won (1 portion of bulgogi, 1 rice and 1 set of side dish). And we have to buy minimum 2 portion, so it cost 30.000 won (2 portion bulgogi, 2 rice, and set of side dish). Then we add another bowl of rice for 1.000 won, so for this lunch, we spent 31.000 won.
The exchange rate in Indonesia, approximately 12,3 won at that time. So we spent IDR 381.300 for 3 people.

Wow... That's why I spent more money in eating. And 2 portion, is really much.

1 Day Trip to 경주 Gyeongju City > South Korea > Day 04 (1) - 2014 October 11 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

Woke up early, and go to 노포 Nopo Station to take bus to Gyeongju. Once out from the train, just look for the direction to bus station, and then from subway station, just make a U-Turn.
The bus station is easy to read. You just choose your destination, and it will show the time of the next departure. Then you go to the locket, and tell the officer and pay. It cost 4800 won to Gyeongju.

It's only took approximately 50 minutes to Gyeongju. That's why I plan only to do 1 trip journey. The city is beautiful. Because it's still traditional city.

Once arrived in Gyeongju Bus Station, there's an information centre located just right next the bus station. You can ask the direction in there.

Our first destination is 불국사 Bulguksa Temple. Just cross the road, and wait for the bus no 10 or 11. Bulguksa station is the last station, and it took approximately 45 minutes to 1 hours (12 stop).

Don't worry, you won't miss it because the driver will tell you that it's the last station, and everyone will get out from the bus.

The scene is beautiful, the autumn feel is really strong in here.

PS: If you have enough time, I suggest stay for 1 night / 2 night in here. It's worthed.

Gwanganlli Beach 광안리 해수욕장 and 광안대교 Gwangandaegyo Bridge > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (9) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

From Haeundae, we go to the 2nd famous beach in Busan, 광안리 해수욕장 Gwanganlli Beach. There's a famous bridge in here, 광안대교 Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and it's beautiful at night. Surrounded with building and cafe, we can enjoy the beach while drinking coffee.

To go here, you can stop at Gwangan Station exit 3 / 5 and walk around 10 minutes to the beach. You will pass a busy road and when I came there, there's road renovation, and it's make uncomfortable to walk.

PS: I've read inside the review in Trip Advisor, it's better if you stop at Geumnyeonsan Station because it's closer to the beach. Next time I went here, I will try it.

This is our last destination for today. After enjoy the scene for a while, we go back to hotel and rest. Time to sleep for tomorrow journey.

Ttaro gukbap (따로국밥) > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (8) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

Before go to the next destination, we go to a restaurant which my friends said it famous. It sells Gukbap 국밥. When we get there, there's so many people eat there.

Gukbap are dishes developed from guk. The term literally means "soup with rice." The dish is typically served in restaurants, and has become popular among the working class since the late Joseon Dynasty. (Wikipedia)

There's many kind of Gukbap, and we choose Ttaro gukbap (따로국밥). And it's really suitable to eat when winter, hot soup on cold weather.

It's Pork Soup. And it's delicious. There's chili inside the soup, so if you don't like spicy, you can carefully separate the chili first.

Sunset at Haeundae Beach > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (7) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

After dinner, we walk around Haeundae. The wind blow stronger than before. There's a news that there's thypoon at Japan, and it affects the weather. It's getting colder.

So we decided to wait for the sunset inside cafe or convenient store. And we bought this.

After that, we go to the beach again to watch sunset.

And the night coming. It's beautiful in the night, especially there's BIFF festival which make the area full of light. The combination of sea, beach, and the city, make it more wonderful.

The wind is so strong, so after we enought to enjoy the scene, we decided to go to the next destination.

Dinner at 해운대시장 Haeundae Market > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (6) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

We decided to watch sunset at Haeundae Beach. So we eat dinner first. We want to eat seafood, then we go to 해운대시장 Haeundae Market. The market looks nice, and sells many fresh seafood and vegetables.

So many restaurant, and we don't know where to eat. So we decided to choose it random :D. This is our choice.

The restaurant name

We orderes 2 set of Sashimi and 1 set of fried fish.

Fried Fish, just like in Indonesia, it's salty. But I don't know what kind of fish it is. It's unique to eat fried fish using chopstick.

Fresh sashimi, long time not eat.

Sour and Spicy soup

It's delicious. You should come and try the seafood here.

해운대해수욕장 Haeundae Beach > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (5) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

해운대해수욕장 Haeundae Beach located at Haeundae District. Exit 5 from Haeundae Station, and walk about 5-10 minutes.

If you ever went to beach in Indonesia (such as Bali and Lombok), you will think that the beach at Busan is a common beach.

But it's so crowded. Many people went there to enjoy the wind and the beach. Located in the middle of high building, and the white sand, make people feel comfortable to just sit and enjoy the scene.

We decided to stay here and enjoy this beach till night and enjoy the sunset. Because it will took some time to travel to another place.

부산국제영화제 Busan International Film Festival > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (4) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

Arrived at Haeundae Station, we go through exit 5 to Haeundae Beach. It took 5-10 minutes to walk there.

When we arrived Haeundae Beach, there's 19th 부산국제영화제 Busan International Film Festival which held on 2-11 October 2014.

BIFF is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. Beginning in 1996 as the first international film festival in Korea, it is now a major global event. Held in Haeundae and Nampo-dong, Busan, the festival presents over 300 films from 70 countries. The focus of the BIFF is introducing new films and first-time directors, especially those from Asian countries.

델리만쥬 Delimanjoo > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (3) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

On the way to Haeundae Station, we saw 델리만쥬 Delimanjoo Snack. When you googling Busan City at internet, you will found this snack. It's very famous. So we try it.

Two kind of Delimanjoo.

김밥 Gimbap & 물 냉면 Mul Naengmyeon for Lunch > Busan, South Korea > Day 03 (2) - 2014 October 10 (Busan, Gyeongju, Seoul, Daegwallyeong, Nami Island, Mt Seorak, Kuala Lumpur)

We eat lunch near Gamcheon Culture Village entrance. There's so many restaurant in there. We try 김밥 Gimbap Restaurant.

We also ordered cold noodles, 물 냉면 Mul Naengmyeon. It is served as a cold soup with the noodles contained in broth made from beef, chicken or dongchimi.

These food is not suitable with my taste. It's too sour and spicy. So after eat lunch, I buy some snack.

After that, we go to the next destination, Haeundae Beach. We ride bus 2 to Toseong Station, then ride metro to Haeundae. It's a long journey, about 2 hours.
